    I have a firemouth chiclid that I want to rehome as my tank is too small for it. I have 2 but want to give away 1

    What size is he? Large cichlids are hard to rehome due to their aggressive nature and most SA cichlid keepers have either very big ones or a large smaller group that a larger fish could bully. You could get lucky though, try the more specialised aquatics forums where you must find more specialist fish keepers than on here.

    I personally don't keeps SAs otherwise I would take him, I only have Malawi cichlids

    He is the size of the malawi chiclid I got him at the start of the summer and the other one I have is about 6 years old. They don't grow big like the other chiclids. I have my 2 in with tiger barbs,red tail shark,black widows, clown loaches and plateys. Some might think not to have them mixed with those fish but they never bother them at all. Want to rehome the newer chiclid as my tank is too small to have the 2 of them and wouldn't like him to go into a tank with big chiclids as they wld probably eat him I say coz he's small.
