Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It'll be fun for some viewers, but not for those cheering on Liverpool tonight I'd say.

I keep thinking every match might be the one that we start to put things back on track, but that thought is getting less belief each game.

Hopefully we can get enough out of the game to still be in it. I'd snap your hand off for 1-1 with a Real victory in the other game.

    Ludo to not get beat!

Bad enough being in bad humour at the weekends but now we have to do it midweek too :pac:

If we play a similar side to the one that started in Madrid we'll win this. If he continues to pick his "best players" we're probably f**ked.

Whispers of Gerrard being 'rested' tonight...

Can should be given a run of games as the DM. I'd like to see him, Allen and Lallana get a few games together....I presume Henderson is still out for tonight?

Can, Henderson, Allen and Lallana in a diamond with Borini and Sterling up front is the team and formation I'd like to see going forward. The young Spanish guys at fullback also.

I wouldn't give Borini any kind of a start tbh, runs around for the duration of his appearance for the grand sum of fúck all!

The Spanish full backs have been pretty poor too but prob better than the alternatives.....not saying much tbh!

Interesting if true, it's been evident for a long time and now that the media are running with it 'The Rodgers' might make the call.

Hopefully we can follow City's example and ruin a European week with a win.

Same team that played at the Bernabeu would be fine by me. That team should be well capable of a positive result against the mighty Ludo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Win or a draw doesn't make much difference tonight if real can win.

    Mignolet
    Manquillo--Kolo--Srktel--Moreno
    Lucas

    Allen
    Can

    Coutinho

    Sterling
    Lambert

Can see this being the team tonight.

Gerrard won't be rested. Reckon Lucas will play DM and Gerrard will play a more advanced role.

2-0 to Ludogorets. Can't see Liverpool ending their slump away to these guys.

A loss here could put Rodgers' job on the line against Stoke

I'm hoping otherwise though, I'm happy with him as Liverpool manager

Lallana for Coutinho and I'd say that's close to it

Diamond only works in a "we will score more than you" type of game

4231 with Lucas and Can sitting in front of a back four, with Sterling Henderson and Coutinho behind Borini

We need solid, and hard to beat, not maverick attacking

It was Andre Voronin who was the main creative archy-tech of that 8-0, which means anything is possible I suppose.

Liverpool team v Ludogorets: Mignolet, Manquillo, Skrtel, Toure, Johnson, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Gerrard, Sterling, Lambert.

substitutes: Jones, Lovren, Coutinho, Moreno, Lallana, Borini, Can.

I can't figure a formation from that unless Sterling is playing off Lambert

    lol Johnson.

Whether they get a win or not doesn't matter, but the sheer fact Rodgers persists with Johnson especially is a sack-able offence.

Reckon it'll be a 1-0 to Ludogorets, hopefully due a Johnson error, Rodgers deserves it, or a 0-0. A dull game either way.

Suarez has only scored one goal this season and he doesn't do it in the big games. Delighted Rodgers has dropped him, to be honest.

He is only a cheating racist. How them barca fans can defend him I don't know.
