Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    he was right on the D perfect place to shoot... fair enough another striker would have taken a defender away from him, i just thought he went for a spectacular instead of just placing it..

    If Real win then a draw is as good to us as a win in this game in terms of qualification, although a win will be much better for confidence of course.

    If we hold on for a win then a Basel draw or loss is the same for us. I can't see us not conceding again though, but this lot are not a good team and we should be able to score again if we were any good, which is where our problems stem from sadly.

    Gerrard's doing fine some nice touches. He used to be quicker sharper and better but is still worth a place in the team.

    Borini and Couthino should be on for the second half, Sterling is the only player carrying the ball and there is no-one making runs off the ball.

    Coutinho off Lambert is a waste of time.

    Lambert is too slow to link up with Coutinho.

    Gerrard is better suited to playing off Lambert.
