LG G2 Mini or Moto G?

Looking to get a phone as a Christmas present for the misses. The G2 mini has dropped to £139 on amazon same price as the new Moto g. It pretty much the same spec bar the lower resolution screen but has larger battery which I think she would prefer. Any thoughts?
