I get the feeling that Joe doesn't think there is a problem with spending 2,100 euro on a communion dress..

Joe throws €50 notes in the fire to keep himself warm.

Finally, the Sierra Leone caller. She was lined up to be on the show last week.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,833 ✭✭✭✭ThisRegard

He actually pronounced Sierra Leone and Ebola correctly.

Must be because he feels he must put on his airs because he's talking to an educated person.

Her line is clearer than when he gets a call from Dublin

In fairness, the communion dress issue was FAR more important.

    Carrie doesn't live here anymore.

Is the Sierra Leone she refers to anywhere near Sierra Leonie that Joe keeps speaking of?

I bet he's like Emma's husband. He'd have a separate tablet with a picture of a €50 on it to wipe with, which of course would not be used again. He doesn't eat too many currys, though he'd spend a lot of time in Currys.

"There is nobody whinging or complaining"

No need for Liveline in Sierra Leone so.

WTF, Joe has no idea what he wants to ask, it's like he's not even paying attention.

Ah, be fair. Things like Communion dresses and lonely mothers are far more important than life and death.

Yep he can drag out the terrible catastrophic story about a childs communion dress but cant even ask any decent questions of this person involved in a real story.

That'll be in a week or two when the sufferers discover that their treatment is not covered under the new medical card system.

    Joe is from Ballyfermot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,065 ✭✭✭✭Odyssey 2005
