Thinking its about time I treated myself to a phone. I have never ever bought a phone and always had a hand me down or something from work. So this xmas I want to get myself a decent head turning mobile.

At the moment I have a Sony Xperia L which constantly is running out of space for installing applications. Lags a lot. ****ty camera. Its so bad it goes to sleep because its too overloaded to acknowledge Im trying to press the screen/buttons.

Dont want to spend over 500 if I can help it.

Needs to be unlocked.

There is some kinda deal next "Cyber" monday where they will sell it for £100 sterling less for one day only, but I don't know if that applies through Amazon. I think for the one day bargain, you might need to get it direct from Motorola UK and that would require a ParcelMotel.

Leather back model is really very striking and unusual if that is something you would like. I have the older 2013 model at present and find it excellent. I think will definitely be going for another Moto X model as an upgrade when the time comes. I just wish Motorola would sell the X directly in Ireland like they do with the G and E models.

Another +1 for the 1+1. for price and specs you wouldnt get any better. works out at just over €360 for a large phone but the specs on name brands would be double
