Good Christmas restaurant for a large group

    Around this time of year a group of friends and I usually organise a meal to celebrate. This year there'll be around 15 of us. Given the season the menu is mostly Christmas-oriented which isn't a bad thing and while we've eaten in a few different establishments we're still on the lookout for a really good spot we could go back to.

    Last year's restaurant was good but we didn't have as much fun because it was a long table in a fairly cramped part of the downstairs section. So I'm opening it up to the floor, all suggestions appreciated for where we should try this year :)

    Sherrie's on Middle Abbey Street have a downstairs section that you should be able to book out completely for that number of people...

    Or La Cave on South Anne Street has an upstairs room.
