BA in Contemporary Culture and Society

So again I'm posting about college transferring.

I applied for the BA in Contemporary Culture and Society in DCU originally on my CAO, and got enough points and all etc. But I put it lower down on my options list. If I transfer into this course I would be more likely looking at 2nd year entry or possibly after Christmas if they allow me. I was wondering if this is a good course as I know it has a lot of diversity in modules or is it basically the arts degree of DCU? I do like the sound of it in general but don't want to give up my current studies for something that I may end up hating. Also career wise (aside from doing a masters) what are the main areas that this would give you qualifications? I've read the course content page on the DCU website but is there anything else that this course can offer me? I want to do a masters in addiction studies so would this be a suitable BA to have behind me since you are studying society? I don't mean to offend/disrespect anyone doing this course also. This is just my current thoughts.

    Again all advise greatly appreciated.
