    Great result. Was the match televised earlier? I came home about 3.30 and turned it on but it was showingTrump v Patrick at that stage.

    Unfortunately David was beaten 6-3 by Stephen Maguire tonight, - BBC didn't show any of his matches so I never got to see him in action.

    Watched match in full on Eurosport 2, Great performance in defeat, did not look at all out of place, should give him an appetite for more of the same. Well done!

    Agreed, he played well apart from one or two very loose shots and had chances to win most frames.

    A fine weeks work, hopefully he can build on it.
