    Hi folks,

Anyone know if there's a simple way to merge multiple (about 50) excel files into one?

I've tried everything! I'm reasonably handy on excel although I'm haven't really used marcos before.

Any ideas? I don't want to have to open them all and copy and paste.

Without further information on what the rows/columns contain, it's difficult to give an opinion.

My only advice would be to first back up every document before you touch them... And then perhaps looking at first reducing the number of individual Excel documents by merging the worksheets from multiple documents in to just one Excel document.

A macro can do that, but but you may need to look through them all to confirm the sheets/tabs within each excel file will all have unique names, so that there'll be no clash when you combine them.

I used to run a script that did something similar a few years ago, will see if I can dig it up when in work tomorrow.
