Hi I'm looking to buy a SonyKDL50W829BBU so have been researching online. All the prices seem to work out at about €900 delivered no matter where I get it from although I appear to have missed out on some deals from June/July 2014 when they were selling at closer to €600.

I'm not in a rush to buy it but would obviously like to get it as soon as I can. Do you know if this TV will have any price cuts in the coming months? I'm looking at trying to get one for €750.

    IrishIrish,

many thanks for the post - the main issue for us with the KDL50W829 has been availability - we do have stocks at the moment but as you say the pricing is €949 ( our euro price includes delivery & 5 year warranty) - at the moment I cant see the price in the short term being reduced by €200 - but keep me posted if there are any other TV's that we can interest you in and we will do our very best for you in pricing terms,

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    best regards,

    John Mc & Crew

Where did you see the KDL50W829 for EUR 600 IrishIrish? That would be a super bargain.

That's no problem. Thanks for the info.

I've never seen it at that price myself but while researching I came across this site http://pricespy.ie/product.php?pu=2491335 and it seems to show that it was selling for €600 in June/July and €750 more recently. I've never used that site before so i've no idea about the accuracy. I have a Friend in the UK who bought the same TV recently and he got it for 600 pounds and a free soundbar so there does appear to be deals on now and then if you keep an eye out.

    Hi Guys,

Still looking to buy this TV but haven't seen it reduced in price too much yet. Yourselves and DID seem to have the best price at the moment unless I go internationally. I'm also considering a suitable soundbar to go with it. is the €899 the best price for this TV? Cheers.

    Hi IrishIrish.

At the moment the 899 Euro is the best price. This includes delivery.
If you go internationally you need to be careful of the spec of the television as some of them will not have the same features or tuners onboard.

With DID they charge 29.99 euro delivery and only supply a one year warranty.

We are running a free 5 year guarantee if you supply us with an email address.

On the soundbar front have you seen any that have interested you?
We are running a boardie special on the Pioneer SBXN750 which retails at 349.99 Euro just a jaw dropping 199.99 Euro
