Still no air frost here; temp fell to 1.2 last night and there was an extensive grass frost but then it clouded over. Cloudless sunny since dawn and temp now 5.2C.

The Gods are looking after the Leopardstown Races it would seem.

Looks like tonight will be the last chance in a while to get a nice ground-hardening frost - no sub-zero in December is pretty rare here; we even had a -1C in November.
