Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    car is a 03 fiesta 1.3 69hp with a duratec 8v engine.

looking on micksgarage at getting a replacement but there are two different shaped ones recommended. Link the style of the one fitted is the first one in the link but is there an obvious difference other than the shape of them?
    hopefully that makes sense! cheers

Both come up when entered. It looses power briefly when cold for 2 or 3 seconds. Seems to to common enough from googling. it's either that or a map sensor so will try that first.

coils usually breakdown when hot or under load,on fords we get the kit of plugs/leads and coil so everything is replaced but symtoms of running rough/miss are there from the start.if yours only has the miss when cold doubt its the coil.spark plugs is it long since been replaced?

One has an oval plug and the other has a square one. Check which yours has.
