New Years Eve festival dublin

The NYE festival in dublin with kodaline.... Just wondering how strict they are on ID ? It says strictly over 18s I'm 17 but all my friends are 18 and going so just wondering would I need ID or do they really bother asking? I pass for 18 anyway but I still don't look in my 20s so there's always the chance of being asked
