    Just saw pics of the Christmas market in Galway.I looks well worth a visit and a great boost for business.Pity they decided to tell the thousands of owners of motorhomes in Ireland they are not welcome.It would have a nice trip pre Christmas.

    Not a bit like that here in The Alsace. All the towns with Christmas Markets give a great welcome to campingcarists. Stayed in beautiful Kayserberg a few nights ago with about 60 other motorhomes at Aire there.
    We are now in our third week away and so far have only used a campsite for visiting Paris where we got an unlimited 3 day travel pass for 25 Euro :-)

    The Councils of Ireland do really need to open their minds to the positive benefit which can come to their cities towns and villages from the provision of overnight motorhome parking and services.n
