Tips on Online Store Websites

Hi guys, I'm still trying to get my website off the ground. I'm a bit confused as to the set-up. The E-commerce sites are telling me that they will host my website, but the place here that I registered my domain name with are also telling me I need to buy a hosting package with them which will give me email addresses.
I would usually say no to the domain provider but the reason I am confused is because I am unaware of legislation in Ireland forcing me to host a .ie website on the island.

    Any tips?

Well in the long run you're better hosting your site in Ireland, it pleases the mighty Google more if you do, and for website owners pleasing Google means getting found !

You're not tied to your domain provider but price round and see if they are competitive.
