Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Android tablet

    Hi all,

    I wouldn't mind getting myself a tablet for Christmas. It's be half for work and half for messing - I need to do a lot of reading so it'd be handy for going through books and PDFs. A half-decent screen would be important for that and about 7 or so inches would be a good size, any bigger and I find them bulky.

    I have a Xiaomi Redmi 1s phone so am happy to look at lesser known Chinese brands if anyone has any suggestions?

    On top of it all I need to try keep it cheap...

    Amazon are selling off their Fire tablets. Some great deals there.

    Indeed they are - thanks for that. I think I'd rather Android really but the prices of the Fire are very good.
