He's not the permanent solution to our striker problems but he's definitely good enough for the bench at least with our current squad

Any time he's started he has been poor and is just not good enough for the level Liverpool aspire too.
People often seem to have difficulty accepting that a player may be poor. He's had 2 years and hasn't broken into the team. What more do you need?
