Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Absolutely no pace going forward. When you have Lambert and Gerrard at the top end of the pitch, you need midfielders/wingers with pace and the skill to be able to ghost past players.

Failing to see what Gerrard is offering here apart from set pieces.

A striker must be made a priority in January.

Baby steps.... We are bottom half and until we progress up the table we can't expect 3 points anywhere. Have to fancy the quality of sterling, Gerrard, Lambert & lallana to create something in second half.

Mig's calamitous error that resulted in no harm should focus him and dare I say it two howlers in one game shouldn't occur :)

Still in with a decent chance of victory

Gerrard - Lucas - Henderson mf providing the predicted steaming lump of freshly dropped tVrd for us all to enjoy.

Thank you! Was trying to remember who that third lump in midfield was.

Henderson sitting deep is a waste of his talent. Once again we are accommodating Gerard at the expense of a better player.

Sterling has done well. We have no pace up front apart from him as expected.

Have you seen his set pieces tonight? Appalling.

Just seen the OG again and it was unfortunate for Min not a blooper it hit him in the back. I mean Toure should have done more

Moreno for Manquilo? What's that about?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,648 ✭✭✭mav79

I've a crazy idea for the defenders, how about not taking an age to decide what to do with the ball and putting pressure on yourselves and then passing it back to a keeper that is hopeless at pass backs.

Yes but what has 3 minutes have to do before. A full 3 minutes of game went on after it. You know 10 other players were playing. Some times people have a set on a certain player and no matter what it is there fault. Not saying Min has not his faults he does and we need a new keeper but sometimes you have to call things that you may not like.

Amazing how piss poor teams like Leicester can pin us back for prolonged periods. Nothing in midfield - set up all wrong again.

Can only be an injury if so hopefully just a precaution

Did I say the goal was his fault? He made a very good save and was unlucky in the few seconds leading up to the goal. It doesn't mean he hasn't been very poor almost all season though.

Just said on BT Sport that it's tactical.

Johnson must have serious dirt on Rodgers.

Anyone know when the 2nd half starts?

Not an injury. I assume they want Johnson attacking the side with Konchesky on it.

No one able to play the ball to someone in space just to give us time to settle..all hustle and bustle

I know things have been bad this season but it comes to something when you're being pinned back and outplayed by Leicester fcuking City.

This match is like looking at a relegation scrap. Pretty poor stuff. Mignolet a Championship goal keeper at best.

Liverpool allowing Leicester far too much possession and it's inviting trouble.
What happened to the 6 second rule?

There has been a constant problem with goalkeepers at Liverpool going back to David James. Brad Friedel, Scott Carson, Sander Westerveld, Chris Kirkland, Jerzy Dudek, Pepe Reina - they all start off okay and then gradually over the course of their time at Anfield become rubbish.

I think Reina is an exception in that he started off rubbish, came good and went back to rubbish again.

I don't think people blamed him for the goal. I think there may have been confusion due to some watching on streams a couple of mins behind giving out about the previous fúck up when he gave the ball away.

I assumed when you said that you just seen the goal that you hadn't seen the first half.
