BOI - Visa Card Settlement

    Hello Everybody,


    I owe BOI a fairly substantial amount on a Visa card.

    My current circumstances are difficult due to a broken leg which has kept me from working as a self employed person.

    The minimum payment per month is fairly high and just about covers their interest which means there is not much light at the end of the tunnel.

    What percentage of the debt is reasonable for them to settle if i could possibly raise the money through my family and friends?

    Have any of you settled at a certain % in the € ?

    Your opinions would be welcome.

    As per my post above, i still owe BOI a substantial Visa debt. Is there somebody there that i can discuss a possible settlement with as the matter is dragging on endlessly. 

    Please provide a name and contact details if possible for a person that can deal with such matters.

    My contact details will be provided on request when i know they are secure.

    You can information about managing finances and dealing with arrears for your credit card here. You will need to get in contact with your local Bank of Ireland branch who will be happy to discuss this further with you.
