Broadband only package for former/returning customer

    A friend called one of your numbers today to enquire if it was possible to get connected to a "broadband only" package. (He was a previous customer but wasn't using the home phone and decided not to renew his contract / get the phone "taken out").
    He now needs a broadband connection for his security system and for technical reasons a 3G / Mobile Broadband connection isn't suitable.
    He was advised to call 1901 and when he did they asked him for his account number before proceeding; but he hasn't got one as he's no longer a customer.
    Can you advise if a "broadband only" package is available or what is the cost of your cheapest Phone and Broadband package?

    There seems repeatedly to be some confusion about this issue.  If he's in an eFibre enabled area, then yes, there's an eFibre standalone product.  But, it's not advertised anywhere on their site!

    There are broadband only packages however their availability is dependent on what the area/line can hold and what speeds are required, the best advice I can offer you is to contact eircoms sales team for non-existent customers on free phone 1800503303 where an agent will be able to run through these packages and prices with you. You can also reach this sales team via web-chat at eircom.net.
