Mondeo interior cabin light problem

    Hi,

    Basically doors open, cabin light doesnt switch on.

    The footwells light up when the door opens though which seems to me to say that the door sensor is working. This only started to happen last night.

    3 settings on switch,
    1. Off
    2. On when doors open
    3. Permanently on

    noticed that the switches are quite flimsy and that I had to rap the lights casing once or twice to get it to come on when in position 3. But no matter what I do, it will not switch on in position 2.

    Any suggestions?

    Get the switch from a scrap yard from one that is being broken.
