Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can someone help me by advising if these two mac books in the two links below from Argos and Powercity are the same laptop? The price differential is significant however the specs see the same.

    Thanks

The Mac book in power City has reteina didply (hd) and that's why it cost more

Strange that the Argos description describes that model as retina display, also the same catalogue number on the UK website has the Q&A section and Argos says that the model has Intel Iris graphics. I thought the non retina display MacBooks had Intel HD graphics.

look here before you make your final decision

    http://store.apple.com/ie/browse/home/specialdeals/mac

I bought a 15" pro for 2,000 that would have been 2,700, lower models don't have as big a saving but you could get that power city machine with a 1 year warranty for 300 less, thats if your not fussy about it having been refurbished by apple

Displaced Dub, thanks for that, I had not realised there was a refurb store
. I am seriously thinking of going that route. It seems to be relatively risk free as you get the 1 year warranty.
