Every minute that passes it seems like more and more of a wasted opportunity by rte.

too much too quick tonight. But not going anywhere. Just a flash of history.

They made a balls of something that could have been brilliant.

Given the material it could have been a lot better but that would require more episodes, better cast and RTE being allowed nowhere near it.

Given the set-up and my low expectations I am pleasantly enjoying this. The G&T in my hand goes well with it :D

Making a comment that doesn't come with bells and whistles on isn't the same as hating the show.

complaining about almost everything in the show is though

Maybe you should switch channel, you ever think about that?

How do you know? Did you know him personally?

I canvassed every General Election in Dublin North Central growing up...

Everyone in DNC knew Charlie.....In fact if you didn't know Charlie it was unusual...

What exactly was the bird eating scene supposed to symbolise does anyone know?

It was more of a crime to be a gay AG than an AG with a murderer as a house guest!

It's kind of jumping from one issue to the next with Terri there to glue a bit of continuity together. Bit slow though. We're half way through but still only in 1982.

To portray a big fearless personality and big ego id say

Haughey didn't need to shout every word to get that across. He just had to stare.

Its more enjoyable to watch this and laugh at its ****eness than a rerun of Norton.

des o malley isnt a great casting. 'doherty' however might as well be the man himself.

"Doherty" is brilliant. The only one that works for me.

What was that letter about ? And who's the father of what?

Terry's daughter, who she had adopted. She said eventually that Donagh O'Malley was the father.

I am here chewing my arm off. I can't wait for this pain to stop. This drama is torture. Like The Wallworth Farce
