Yesp, it's a 1.4GB download. Best to get it DLed and installed in preparation for when it goes live

People on eBay are currently selling extra/spare codes, no idea how legit though.

I just bought a US code off EBay for €13, works fine as long as you redeem it on a US PSN account.

Servers are getting hammered at the moment though, nobody can get past the title screen.

You could have gotten it for free from Amazon and guaranteed to work by pre-ordering and cancelling after you get the code in e-mail (sent out automatically. ) They don't charge till release date. No need to pay for it.

In fact people doing that and selling them on is really bad practice.

Need a US credit card for Amazon.com, and if your shipping to an address outside the US, they wont email you the code.

No to both. I used my debit card and it worked fine. Also got the code.

Sounds like the servers were a disaster last night.

I watched a clip from happy console gamer a minute ago and it took him 3 hours to get on!

Not that it mattered to me as I wasn't getting up or staying up till 2/3am to play.

Problem now is I won't get on till the kids are in bed. Argh!!

Really looking forward to giving it a go.

Gonna have to bite the bullet on a fight stick before the proper release though.

My kingdom for a patch to let me use my yellow buttoned old school namco stick.

I used to work for Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com used to do this all the time before, so if they have stopped all of a sudden, good to know for future reference.

Yeah, it works a charm. I got mad unlucky and the code wasn't send to me automatically so i just hopped on the amazon help chatline and they were sound as a bell. Will need a US PSN to redeem and play but that takes 5 mins. Better than nothing I spose if you didn't get an eu code

As disappointed as I am, its better this happened to a beta then the full game. It wouldn't kill them to let us play it in practice mode for the mean time though :pac:

As disappointed as I am that this happened, I also appreciate the fact that it is a beta after all, a free beta at that. As mentioned, it's good this has happened now rather than at the real launch.

Bit disgusting that people have thrown it back at Capcom's face.

There are plenty of other games to play in the meantime and we'll eventually get access to the beta.
