While on the topic of Bison, I'm surprised at how bad the range on his normals are. St.MK is abysmal, the range feels like it's been cut in half. He has no real go to footsie button now. Cr mp is decent, but that's it really. His lights are quick but of course can't be used in a neutral situation. Most of the time I'm sitting back waiting for them to jump so I can AA and get some momentum going with SKs. His dash is very good so I can see where they intentionally wanted to switch up the character design/play style, maybe toning down his footsies for better pressure as a balancing act. But when did Bison ever not have pressure?

    Down playing bison so hard

It is difficult to take Ramza's opinion seriously. Its a well known fact he's not capable of handling Psycho Power, its far too advanced for a person from Mullingar to master.

Every time I go to play the beta the servers are under maintenance (21012)

Yesterday and now this evening. I must be going on at the wrong times.

Does anyone know when the maintenance happens or is it random.

I'm dyin to get a game in this evening but it isn't looking good. :-(

Ah **** that work tomorrow no way I'll be up at 12.

I'll only be able to get on between around 7 and 12 at a push with kids and work etc.

Back to Xrd it is so.

Cheers for that. I'd never have bought of Twitter for updates. Not really one for social media.

Hopefully tomorrow evening it'll be live so I get a go.

Picked Nash for the first time.

First match, I get a bison.

First thing I land is an air throw on a head stomp.

    The more things change...

Joking aside, I seem to be having most success with Nash, which is funny because he's definitely not my usual style. Pocket is so good as a poke/ AA and his teleport mix ups are lethal against the casuals or the sleeping. I'd say they won't be quite so strong with a little time and his lack of reversal will hurt him.

Birdie is too much fun too, great pokes, huge damage, I'd say he's going to be hated.

Charlie is really fun to use, he has the most versatile FB game and it's really satisfying to get zoning going with him. But his wakeup is ridiculously poor, you can meaty him to death and there's nothing he can do, literally.

Couldn't he, if you had all the meter, EX sonic scythe teleport?

Yeah but his V Reversal is crap vs meaties, he does a mini teleport and you can recover in time to punish it, it seems

Nope, the first hit of EX scythe will trade with meaties, so you won't be able to cancel to V Trigger off of a trade

    Ryu looks like Dan Bilzerian.

    Bison looks like Ron Perlman

Cammy is dressed more practically for battle than her standard outfit.

Chun is wearing one of the tiniest thongs I've seen for a good while. Or maybe that's her hips dwarfing it.

Don't we all. Doesn't make sense with some characters like Ken advancing in appearance and fighting style and then him reverting back to a more traditional shoto in 3rd Strike.
