They also gave Brawl 40/40.

Its two complaints where that the game lacks single player content and at high level of play the game may not be a show skills due to the simple systems and controls.

Gonna be honest I'm a little disappointed. One of Capcom's weaker recent theme choices.

On a weird side note, I kinda judge theme music on what I like to call the banana test (Aaron knows all about my banana theories in music). If you don't find yourself wanting to go "BA-NA-NAAA, BA-NA-NAAAA" along to the theme, it's not doing its job.

Of course, being my subjective opinion on something, this decision is 100% inviolable and correct.

EDIT: The the menu music is excellent theme music, very easy to banana to the arpegiatted guitar.

This is becoming more and more common with online focused games. It's also likely not all the post release content is unfinished either, but more just holding a bunch of it back to drip feed content over a few months. It stops folks burning through all the stuff in the game and moving onto to another product.

From what I gather you keep any alternate colors you've unlocked from those modes, but you lose all the Fight Money and XP. You can earn back those bonuses by completing the modes again.
