    Hi,

I want certified copies for few of my documents.
Where can I get it done please in Kilkenny?

On the requirement page it says:
To have a copy certified, you must present the original document and the photocopy to one of the following:
 A member of the Garda Síochána at a police station
     A Commissioner for Oaths
     A Notary Public

    Thanks

There seems to be one Notary Public in Kilkenny, he is also a solicitor. Click on the map for details http://www.notarypublic.ie/?multi_city=35

There has been a change in how documents are certified at a Garda Station. Gardai no longer certify the documents. Instead the person wanting the documents done writes on each page
"I certify this document is a true copy of the original "

The person signs it and garda witnesses the signature.
