Does anyone else feel like there might be something brewing between McKay and Niki?

I didnt pick up on that, but its possible. My missus thinks he's gorgeous. She calls him the "hot cop". Clearly westlife isnt her type.

How did westlife get his nickname again?

I think he's gorgeous too. Westlife isn't that attractive at all, I'd pick Adrian before him.

Am disgusted Sean Mahon (Sgt. Brian McGonigle) did not win best actor at the IFTAs! Enda Oates from Fair City/ex Glenroe won it!! :(

For the record, McKay is the best looking.

Does anyone else think Paudge could do a weekend gig as an Elvis impersonator! with the coif and those side-burns he is definitely channeling his inner Elvis!

Yeah this week was especially good. The scene with Nikki, Angela and Sharon drinking whiskey in the office was really effective and bonded those three characters a bit more.

Overall though, I think since it's come back from summer break they've done a great job at developing some of the characters a bit more, especially the likes of Nikki, Keith and Connor who had kinda been B characters in season 1, have come into their own a bit more.

I'd say with the IFTA wins at the weekend that TV3 will definitely be renewing the show past 2016 (which is what the current deal is) - between Red Rock and them having the rights to Rugby World Cup I imagine TV3 has never had as many viewers and as much positive response.

Is it just me or has David Hennessy been missing this season? Haven't seen tonight's episode yet mind

He was in one or two of the earlier episodes in September. I'm sure he'll be back in it soon with Michael's trial coming up.

That said, David is my least favourite character, because he's easily the most selfish of the lot of them. Doesn't seem to give a f*** that his brother could go to prison because of David's own actions.

Michael is a much more appealing character.

True but he's a bit of a ride so I was missing him in a purely superficial way

Off sick today, so I said why not cheer myself up and catch up on red rock. Christ on a bike that was hard hitting stuff this week! It keeps getting better and better. I thought paudge would come good, but no. I am very disappointed in him. McKay is FINALLY getting wise.

Paudge is playing a very dangerous game. McKay has already sussed there must be a mole or informer inside the station and it's not going to take him long to work out who the rogue Garda is.

He gives the Hennessys and in particular their solicitor the inside track. He escorted Michael to his cell personally and has assured the family that he is "on their side" !?!?

Didn't think Paudge would be caught out so soon. Wonder what'll happen to him, now that McKay and Nikki know it's him.
