Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help Finding Details About Mp3 Players?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask - I wasn't sure where to go. I'm trying to replace my existing mp3 player; and I'm looking for some specific features...but when I check out an mp3 player online - it never includes what I'm looking for.

My current mp3 player doesn't have a 'lock' button - so when I put it in my pocket at the gym, I frequently turn it off by accident.

I'm also looking for an mp3 player that will be recognized as a standard USB storage device, so that it will work in Windows and Linux - without any additional software.

I'd also really like for it to maintain the ordering of songs, even when it's on random. So, what I mean by that is that if I press 'Next' I should get a random song, but if I press 'Prev' it should always go back to the song I heard last - and if I go back and then forward - I should always end up on the same song. My current mp3 player seems to randomly select a new song whenever I go in either direction. If I'm scanning through and pressing 'next, next, next, next' and I hear something I like, but I've already hit next once, when I press back, it'll be a new random song.

Are there any sites that categorize details like this for mp3 players?
