Oh nintendo, we thought you had learned how name things with the switch, but even I the owner of a Wii U and N3DS had to take a minute to figure out what the new 2ds actually was.

Does it support the New 3ds games, or is it just New because its new, is the New 3ds even new anymore? is it just the 3d getting the cut? Is it still an piece of toast ? Why did you take all the cool wii u controller stuff out of breath of the wild ?

3D is a mixed bag. Looks great on Mariokart but on the old 3DS does not track well when you corner The Zelda top-down game looked great. Luigi's Mansion. But it's a gimic, it's not essential. I can't think of a game that couldn't be played without it. I'd be happier to live without it and have a free game than pay the extra.

I dunno. There's nothing I wanna play that absolutely requires 3D, at least. Forgot about the region-lock. Was tempted by an OG 2DS, but between the big lumpy slab and the fact it can't run **NEW** 3DS games, the shine came off it.

It's got all the power and functionality of the New 3DS, without the 3D and selling for €80 cheaper. Pretty simple.
