Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

  • Lvg has to adjust, McNair is ****ting a brick.

This 3 / false 5 at the back is not working

we have no midfield, and strikers are lost. 5 at the bac is a joke

RVP being a nice likable guy as usual I see.

Yeah he stood in front of the keeper to stop a quick kick out, what a deplorable human being.

It's like United are trying not to keep the ball in this game. Miles away from the Hull and even early in the Stoke game, Herrera would fix it. Hope he comes on at HT for McNair.

    Edit: or now :p

Herrara on for McNair thank Christ.

Another sub being made by LVG

Than feck for that! Hererra is the right player to be on

  • And lvg reacts. Should have been 4 at the back to begin with

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 846 ✭✭✭TheFullDuck

good to see he's being proactive. not waiting till the 70th min to make a change

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 119 ✭✭RQ2013

Bit harsh but he's having a shocker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,196 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

McNair looked spooked by the last few challenges, sad really he has been class this season.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

You just know we won't finish with eleven now.

whats the possession stat? it looks like 80/20 in southamptons favor to me.

Crazy to play McNair against this team considering how they've been playing. 2 subs down in 40 mins, mad stuff!

Ffs fellaini. Get your fcuking act together

Good call. Looked a bag of nerves.

Hopefully Herrera adds a bit of intensity to Utds play, something that's really lacking tonight.

It's nice that he isn't afraid to make changes early

We really need HT to come

Love LVG and his Balls. Feel sorry for McNair but having a stinker. Fellaini if he keeps playing like this will get sent off with frustration. It's frightening how poor we've been under pressure!

Southampton's high pressure work rate is fantastic.

They all need a cup of tea at half time to calm down

  • Fellani and mata are afraid to play a forward pass fs

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,446 ✭✭✭glued

No width, no pressure and no midfield... Back three isn't working. Get out of it van Gaal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

The few united fans who think a win tonight might bring them back into the title race are kidding themselves.

We've been second to every ball. Badly need to up the tempo to get into this game

LvG, if you're reading this have a new tactic. Give the ball to RVP.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,894 ✭✭✭Nolars

    jesus half time thank ****

I know it's the right call but it's harsh in terms of he's a young kid who's played well in previous games. Could really affect his mind for the future if he's not sat down and explained where he went wrong etc.

I'm saying that some call by Van Gaal... Not afraid to make the hard decisions. Hopefully he rips into them now at half time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Not the worst effort from rvp.

Big team talk needed at half time. We have been shambolic.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,369 ✭✭✭LostBoy101

LVG needs to re-evaluate this formation or give the players a bollocking.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,861 ✭✭✭fuzzydunlop85

As bad as we've played all season, need a bollocking at ht, mata fell Rooney all been dire, Herrera at least capable of passing the ball gives me a glimmer of hope for the second half.

  • Registered Users Posts: 931 ✭✭✭Chrissybhoy

Jesus United needed half time. Southampton tactics spot on pressing high as a unit. United couldn't pass the ball shocking play from Fellaini for the goal not good enough. Can't see it getting any better Southampton win for me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

Utter shcutter from United. Fellaini's running around like a headless chicken. Young and Valencia have been chronically poor going forward.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,006 ✭✭✭edgecutter

    I hate 3-5-2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 119 ✭✭RQ2013

Without Di Maria... Team is so one paced

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 974 ✭✭✭MooShop

What did I just witness....absolute horrible half from Utd. Never got going at all, mistakes all over the pitch. Young has been our best player.
