Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HI, I have a 2007 Sante fe 2.2 CRDI and am experiencing a small oil leak from the Intercooloer. The oil level on the dip stick in the engine hasn't drop.the leak is coming from underneath the intercooler .just a bit worried it could lead to a turbo failure. I have removed the intercooler and cleaned the oil out and cleaned around where the leak was.I have recheck it again after a few days and there is more oil leaking out again. Is there any thing else that i can check Please help thanks

the intercooler needs to be replaced, get one from a dismantler's. very easy to fit to that vehicle.

Sounds like there might be a hole in the intercooler. If you know someone who can weld aluminium it's a quick fix.

Oil in the intercooler isn't unusual: the turbo shaft will always allow a tiny amount of oil through, and the crankcase vent is routed back to the intake too. To minimise oil buildup in the intercooler, make sure not to baby the car. Give it a good hard run through the gears at least once a week to push all that crap through.
