Alarm Recommendationd for Prewired House

Hi all,

I'm being put under pressure by herself to look into getting an alarm fitted to the house here. It was wired at time of construction (10 -12 years ago) but never been used, we're here less than a year. The wiring seems to consist of wires to each window and external door with a wiring beside the light switch in the master bedroom.

Ideally i'd like to monitor all the windows and doors and have a couple of internal PIR's.

Even more ideally i'd love something that has an output i can monitor with the current states. Serial or broadcast packets or something? No idea if something like that exists.

Any advice?

Thanks for that, that looks like it might do the job.

Is this a common system? i.e. would most installers be familiar with it?
