12 month visa USA ?

I'm 18 , and I graduated secondary school this year. How can I get a 12 month USA visa ? Do I have to go to college first ? Or can I just have my leaving cert ?

I assume you mean a 12 J-1 allowing for work etc. For that you will need college education
