Advice on Salmon fishing Dublin

Ive been fishing for many years more small river like dodder for trout i now feel it's time for me to take the next step & try for salmon :-) I've been told you can get a day tag for €80 if i'm not mistaken ? would anyone be able to advice on this & is there any good spots in Dublin that may be good for salmon ?
