Mix of squad players and youths squeezed by Bordeaux on penalties.

Don't expect that mix to get by Anzhi though.
Some unusual score lines to say the least tonight. Pride of place to Flamengo though, well done Sir.

A new club record has been set.

    *click*

The Juventus club record for highest scoring cup game has been broken. The game against Zenit finished 4 - 6

    my reaction....

    but...... who won?

Chris P Bacon steered Juventus to victory against Zenit.
Juventus beat Zenit 6 - 4 in a thrilling The Boards.ie League Cup Round 2 encounter.
Garcìa was in fantastic goal-scoring form and bagged 5 goals, later being voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Djilobodji was also on the scoresheet for his side.

Garcia was actually ronaldo tonight.

Kind of surprised to see Michal Zyro get a -1 today. Only 22, made his debut for Poland this year and has 4 caps so far, scored a couple of goals against Celtic before they were thrown out, and he's being talked about as the next up and coming Polish player. Strange one as he was only 84 rated and is now 83

Ok I'm just going to put this out here. At the moment my Udinese squad is unarguably very good, especially for a Division 3 team, and to be honest I see teams in Division 2 where I think that on paper my team has an advantage over yet I cannot keep this team consistent. I briefly considered applying for the Shakhtar job as they are 2nd in Division 2 (and i'm not going to get their any time soon with my form!) but I honestly think my team is better on paper, albeit a few of my players could drop in the next year or so.

I have to say all these managers with lesser rated squads should be commended for doing so well because I just can't get my team going! Beat one of the title favourites PSV 5-1 and then get destroyed 5-0 a few games later! Eto'o was banging in goals for every other team he was with and he's doing feck all for me.

Someone help!!! Here since April I think but still consider myself as a bit of a newbie regarding tactics and so on. I think that if any half decent manager took over my team, they'd blitz the league and do well in division 2 also. It's just so frustrating

    RANT OVER

Sometimes there's nothing you can do. As others have said, I've arguably one of the best teams in the GW and look at my form and position. Its a pain in the back side
