Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why does Skrtel turn inside every flipping time he receives the ball wide?

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Rodgers won't be sacked when we lose on Sunday.

Nonsense, what other way can you put your arm out? Swing implies some sort of forceful dangerous maneuver, he just put his arm back, it wasn't in agression, it at worst rubbed him, anyone at all saying that was a foul, let alone a red card, is completely wrong.

You can leave your arm out there. Markovic swings back. Its not that malicious or anything just a bit stupid really. Your saying it wasn't a foul at all?? Christ. You just simply cant put your hand against someones face like that.

I can't watch this anymore. Why are we going wide and crossing the ball when the only person to aim for is a 5ft 6" Sterling?

I feel for Mick and lads on this thread to be honest. It's the Liverpool fans who are trolling it at this stage. :P

No he shouldn't. I hate this season as much as anyone but sacking Rodgers will not provide the answer.

While I'm not a fan of sacking, it rather depends on the replacement.

  • That was dirty stuff

    Jesus Christ,

Is he missing his warm sport on the bench beside Markovic?

In all fairness though, you have to commend Basel, they are playing well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,105 ✭✭✭mada999

if you are going to get a yellow ya may as well do the player properly imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

The thing is European refs don't take bullshît. That's only a yellow in the premier league at best, it's why Fellaini gets away with it. I remember Fellaini got sent off for doing it against Sociedad last year.

Really? Poor transfer dealings, poor performances and results and tactically inept is what I'm going on. Can't see it getting better either.

I think so. Last CL game in a red shirt for the rest of the team also.

Naaaaaaaa. Put the arm back to clip something and misjudged how far he was away from the player. And, morons? Really? Do mods have to adhere to the charter?

I think you're right in that he did misjudge how far away he was. I think he thought he was closer than he was and tried to shield him off at chest height.

red card was valid, violent conduct on a football pitch, bye bye Liverpool

I'd have to agree here. It hasn't just been one mistake. The summer transfer window was a shambles. Continually tactically inept. And, to be fair, these aren't bad players - they can't *all* be gone of the boil?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Sterling needs to let the ball go quicker. He doesn't have to run everything everytime.

We do not belong in the Champions League this season.

Whatever about Liverpool's abject performance for the most part, Basel have been fantastic. They really have a thing for playing against English sides.

    edit: damn, 1-1 :pac:
