    Anyone here doing it outside the official event?

    For me it'll be the first time on the route but I have a good idea for most parts and I'm going to recce parts I'm unsure with.

    Also I'm wondering about the section that passes through private land after kilbride range,
    as I'm not sure if its the event that only has access through that part,
    pictures would be great.

    Are you doing it the days its on officially? or sometime over the winter?
    Because the first way is not cool.

    Im aware of that , not doing it the same day.

    Should have specified that but theres no set date in my mind yet just some time in january.

    The bit through the private land will only be open/marked on the night of the official event. You'll have to keep to the road, adding about 2km to the route.
