Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New to the Limerick area and need to get Mondeo serviced - 35k km on the clock. Has anyone got any recommendations for reliable garage in the Limerick area for this. Wary that there are lots of bad ones out there so any advice appreciated.

Ring the main dealer and ask about a winter service or value service. Fixed price menus.

Two places I've been or heard were good are Clondrinagh Motor Center http://www.cmclimerick.com/ which I've tried and they are good.

Seamus McGrath have also got good reviews from users on this board. http://www.seamusmcgrathmotors.com/

I've had my last car serviced in Cavanaghs of Charleville but its a pain to get out there.

Seamus McGrath always seems to be popular.

I just rang them to see how much it would be for my 2010 focus diesel's 100k mile service.

200 - 260, depending on whether the diesel fuel filter is required.

Aidan Frahill Motor Servicing,Eastlink Business Park,Ballysimon(formerly known as Seamus mc Grath's) or Henry St. Garage(slightly more expensive for basic servicing).

Seamus McGrath himself operates out of 12 Sexton Street now, has done the last few years, he is sound out.
AFAIK that was his place out in Ballysimon too, for some reason current operator held on to the name for a while after Seamus was no longer involved, don't know Aidan Frahill at all but he gets good mention on here also from time to time

Eamon Morrissey's garage if you are on the Killaloe side, coming out of town 2.5 miles turn right at Larkins Cross where the Topaz is, always charges reasonable.

35k km? Is it still under warranty? For the sake of it I'd keep the dealer history on a fresh car. Might be handy for goodwill if needed and the cost difference is minimal in my experience.

Thanks guys. Hadn't considered the warranty which is a good point but it does have another 6 months on it so have decided to stick with main dealer this time.
