Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm always hesitant to update the software on my apple devices until the bugs are worked out (I think Apple is becoming more like Microsoft ie publish software and let the users find the bugs). However I thought I'd now be safe updating my iPhone 5 and ipad3 to 8.1 as its been out a while. Trouble is, I can't get emails…

However I thought I'd now be safe updating my iPhone 5 and ipad3 to 8.1 as its been out a while. Trouble is, I can't get emails while I'm out and about on 3G (can get them when on wifi at home) and I can't update the apps on my iPad from the App Store.

Is there a quick fix for this as I've done the usual, ie turned devices off completely and rebooted them, checked the mail settings etc.

Try resetting network settings, bear in mind though that all wifi passwords will be lost.
