Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm just sitting here with my picture of Thibaut Courtois smiling.

Should if Neuer if you're gonna sit with a keepers picture

Great shift from jones it must be said.

Liverpool haven't in general been bad.

They just can't score and the defence is putrid.
Sums it up pretty well, that. There isn't that much between them, though United have obviously been the better of the two. Goals win games, and you get the impression that Liverpool wouldn't score today, even if they played until midnight.

If you're going to make a point about the best keeper, use Neuer not Courtois.

    Many think Courtois is better.

De Gea is something seriously special.

It's an absolute travesty that he only has 3 Spain caps when you've got a shower of has-beens ahead of him.

Hes a very good keeper, no doubt. But if you look at every shot hes saved today, youd be saying he should have done better if any of them had gone in.

Sterling and Ballotelli should have had a couple between them, regardless of what keeper is in goal.

FFS, Rogers need to put a cut out of De Gea in the goal and training with big flashing arrows to the side say "kick ball her" and a no entry sign in the middle.

    A bit like this

I wouldn't mind too much if we played poorly today, but we arguably had our best performance going forward since August, and we've nothing to show for it.
Sweeping changes have to be made ASAP.

Yup. Doesn't mean they are right. Neuer is the clear winner for me.

Agreed - on the one that hit the crossbar, he didn't even do a scorpion kick! When Sterling was through one on one, he didn't even dispossess the lad and nutmeg him a few times for good measure.

    6.5/10 performance... mmmmaaaaayyyyyyybbbeeee a 7 because it's almost Christmas.

Would you have been happy with the ball going in just past his shoulder? Cos that's where it would have passed him.

But sure maybe just throw another joking post up with loads of exclamation marks, thatll make you right.

Yes, if the ball went past him it would have gone in the net. Can't say you're wrong there.

No question who deserved to win, Liverpool are toothless, midfield is weak, Toure is our best defender, a lot of problems.

Great victory. Decent performance but still a lot of improving to do but against Liverpool, a victory is all I want.

Are you capable of a proper reply?

Which one of the saves, had it gone in, would you have been happy that he couldn't have done better on?

Not today Bren, Not today :D
    Brendan Rodgers
This is a league where the top team plays the bottom team and on any given day you can lose. You don’t get that a lot in the other leagues.

I keep it close so that when people hold up false prophets, Thibaut is there to remind me who the one true GOAT is.

Shame Van Gaal's mistake made Liverpool look good. 3 man defense was a suicide, any decent team would have scored and killed us.

Plenty to be happy about there but it wasn't a great performance. Some good individual performances but things got very messy at the back at times.
Liverpool are f*cking woeful up front, they really did piss away that Suarez money.

Liverpool has regressed to a level even worse than hodgeson era. United did what was required for a full deserved win.

So many elements of the team are all off. Goalkeeper all the way through to striker(when we even have one on the field) are just not up to it.
