Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What the hell Valencia....... What are you doing? beating about 3 men

Reminds me of the Valencia that played for Wigan all them years ago. Taking on men for fun.

  • Liverpool's defence is shocking....like ours

    Great stuff from Valencia

Just ****e at the back, needs to be sorted out quickly

Jesus, does no one show these lads how to defend when you've 2 defenders to one attacker? Don't stand side by side, hes always going to go through the middle. One behind the other and he cant run you.

Sterling really should have scored mind.

    Beautiful from Valencia though :D

Good finish but Brad diving the other way is comical stuff.

    Shocking fr Moreno an Lalana

Moreno seems pretty **** at defending for €20m

??????? He cost 12 million. Very generous rounding up of figures there

Allen is all over the shop. United tails up now. Really fearful.

Valencia needs to be more confident and keep doing that.

You obviously aren't able to form your own opinions because it was Allen and Lallana, you just heard the commentators say that and agreed with it.

It was an easy pass for Valencia, nobody was defending the edge of our box, Gerrard not aware of his surroundings again, persisting with him in front of our defence is taking the piss

Pressing well, all over them - no

Sorry my bad thought it was €20m

Neville needs to be told that there is no player called "Mourainho" out there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,338 ✭✭✭Ardent

Allen is such a nothing player. Following a poor performance against Basel in the same vein.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,380 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

I guess without a right back there Valencia is liberated somewhat :p

That was so embarrassing to watch Allen and lallana for the goal

DDG proved why he's United's player of the season.

Difference between 1-0 Liverpool and 1-0 United.

Still think Liverpool will get something here.

Yep heard the commentators say his name I thought it was him too. If it wasn't fair enough

My opinion is he looks good going forward but suspect on the defence that's all

    Sterling should have done better

    The Spanish Xabi!

Jones and Evans don't appear to be comfortable enough on the ball for Liverpool's high pressing.

If hes conceded with that Sterling shot it would have been shocking goalkeeping.

That was a Sterling miss rather than a De Gea save for me.

    Coutinho is so bad.

    Dross.

Great that Coutinho is allowed to show his passing range. United could be in trouble otherwise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

    The Spanish Xabi!

    You mean the Welsh Xavi.

What you said makes no sense.

He's been great this season but that save from Sterling was pretty straightforward. Sterling should have done much better.

Pretty open game so far. Utd looking ropey at the back again. Still hope for Liverpool.

Our defence stills looks so erratic so we will definitely need another goal.

Stop giving it away so cheaply.

United very sloppy in Midfield. Very lucky Liverpool have been rather wasteful in the final 3rd with their final passes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

Not a shred of confidence in the Liverpool team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,304 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

It really does have Sunday League about it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,841 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

4 easy miss passes from United in midfield already

They'll need 2 or 3 to win this

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,139 ✭✭✭westernfrenzy

    ffs Jones

Are the lads playing Lee Carvallo's putting challenge or what? "I recommend feather touch" , " you have selected, power drive"

  • Sigh....yellow #2

My word Fellaini is having a shocking game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,380 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

    Lot of stupid tackles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

We'll finish this with 10 players by the looks of it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

Fellaini was probably fouled by Allen I think it was before that yellow for Jones

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Not good having our too most rash players on yellow already.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,347 ✭✭✭Quandary

I'll be shocked if Utd finish this game with 11 men

My word Fellaini is having a shocking game.
I'd take him off now. Bring Herrera or Fletcher on. His tackling is awful so far. Red card in the post if he doesn't cop on.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,832 ✭✭✭✭Blatter

Fellaini isn't comfortable in the holding midfield role. Young and Valencia aren't comfortable at wing back. The three CBs are not comfortable playing in a three.

It's a disaster and the game is here for Liverpool to win if they show more composure in the final third.
