    Hi folks,
Left it a bit late so most places seem to be booked out.. Tried Thorntons, shannahans, lecrivan, diep le shaker, fire and fallon and byrne. No joy with any of them :(

    Any suggestions for alternatives?
    Cheers
    Mick

Try Fade Street Social? Sometimes they have cancellations. The food is gorgeous :)

MPW Steak House on Dawson St.
La Cave on St Anne Street South

Budget but nice and a LUAS ride away is PBX, Wuff and the various other places in Stoneybatter.

l'gueuleton, they only take bookings on the day, ring them they should be able to sort you out. Coppinger row do the same.

San Lorenzos been recently decent grub, great atmosphere.

Hey OP, queries that are specific to Dublin City are best suited to the Dublin City forum. People posting in Food & Drink are based all over the place!

    Try www.lovindublin.com

If you can't find a restaurant there then you're snookered!!

Pacinos isn't really on the same par as the other restaurants you listed on your original post.
It's more a cheap and cheeful Italian, and the only time I went there I was very disappointed at the quality of the food.
If you like Italian, there's far better out there.

    Agree with Whiskeyman, not great.

I've never been to lecrivan but I reckon you're in for a much more special experience!
It may cost a lot more though! :)
Enjoy yourselves and perhaps post a review if u don't mind.
