You can get a top of the range Tesla Model S for less, and it beats the i8 in other important aspects as well.

It can be but it doesn't have to be. The last two seats are optional and only for small children.

I really like the Teslas S, never see them here, but there were plenty on the road when I was in the Netherlands a few times in recent months. You'd see one every 5 minutes on the main motorways.

And the start of a revolution at that, with superb performance and a game changing range. And that was even before the spectacular specs of the model you linked to.

The bias in that article is hilarious, if I had that kind of money, give me the I8 every time! the I8 has a 23 mile range on electric only power yes, it would actually have a further range than the Tesla in total though, with a full tank of fuel. One looks like a super / hyper car and has a bmw badge on the front also...
