Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Have 2.5M in bank.
Time to get a Chelsea defender,Chamber's assured start is in doubt, probably Terry if he survives this weekend :)

    Downing to Yaya.

Last week showed there is no point even thinking about transfers yet! I doubt anyone survived last weekend without a few issues!

Having said that it'll hopefully be Dzeko coming in!

    Ings to dzeko

    Ings to dzeko

Looks probably the best captain option next week I would imagine X>Dzeko will be the move of the week assuming he gets through this week ok!

    Thoughts at the moment are:

    Chambers to a Hull defender
    Chadli to Silva

That said, if last week is anything to go by then that will have gone out the window by 3:15. :pac:

Siggy to someone as I now have Bony. Although I can afford Marney to Silva to leave me with 8 excellent front options.

Gibbs to Kompany if I have no other pressing issues. He seems to be slipping under the radar a bit as people opt for Clichy and Zab but he's the much safer option of the 3.

4 yellows would be a factor for people being wary of Kompany.

Assuming I don't have another horrible GW with injuries and cards I'll be banking it, and besides, my bank of ff balance currently reads 0.

    NEVER

I gotta get rid of Chadli. 4.5m in the bank so my options are pretty open. Not sure who I'll bring in for him yet.

This one kicked off later than normal!

Does that stretch to Yaya? Decent captain shout next week.

I think the favourability of the fixtures make him worth the risk though. I went with Yaya this week despite him being in the same boat. It could backfire with him getting booked after 5 minutes but it's a risk I was willing to take.

Yeh so do I might bring him in myself. I doubt any City defender will play every match over Christmas so if he just misses the one due to suspension then it will probably even itself out.

fellaini to yaya all going well

    siggy to silva

£4.0m in the Bank from getting Bony for Aguero.

Staring at the points & team value vacuum that is Chambers and wondering the possibilities...

    I could finally go Baines....

Probably Dzeko in for Benteke. And maybe Silva in for Chadli.

Time dump chambers need playing players over crimbo and he rund the risk. Terry or azp in i reckon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

RVP or Costa to Dzeko most probably.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,121 ✭✭✭G1032

    Siggy to Silva?
    Siggy to Yaya?
    Azpil to Terry?
    Azpil to anyone?
    Bony to Dzeko?

    Really!?

Before a ball is even kicked!?

Any suggestions for straight swap for Dzeko? Not a dime in the bank.

    I'd love a wildcard.

Jovetic might turn into a serious option if Dzeko is out for a few weeks. He seems to have been rested today as a precaution so should be fine for next weekend.

Need to get Downing in. A blank from Siggy tomorrow and he's gone.

Chelsea and Arsenal in two of their next three games. Then they have Everton and Swansea away. Tough few weeks ahead for them.

Hazard in. Not sure who's out but Hazard is in.

    Need to get Dzeko out

  • Registered Users Posts: 532 ✭✭✭Arbitrary

Interesting that not a single game went over 2.5 goals so far today. Wonder what the odds were an an under 2.5 goal acca on all 3 o'clock kick offs.

May or may not be related to the busy schedule coming up.

    Oops, wrong thread.

Dzeko for Jovetic it looks like, that will free up some funds to bolster the back line.

Okay so I can afford pretty much anyone in for Chadli. Downing is an option but apart from that no one is really jumping out at me. My front 8 is currently:
    Boyd, Siggy, Chadli, Sanchez, Hazard,
    Costa, Bony, Austin.

Anyone got any suggestions? I was looking at Yaya but I dunno if he's worth 10.8m.

Would have been pretty big I was looking at Chelsea and City matches before hand and that worked out bigger than 9/2 for both to be <2.5.

Pelegrini mentioned that his 3 strikers could be out for a month. I guess it is too early to tell, but if that is the case then City look a lot less attractive.
With Edin Dzeko, it's very unlucky. We must see. Maybe we are going to be without the three strikers for at least one month.

Yaya or Silva will be pushed up though.

On current form I could see Lampard played in a lone striker role. Game changer!

Super Georgie Boyd is on 4 yellows now I think. Not ideal to be balancing with all the games coming up now

As long as nothing unexpected happens I'll be ditching tadic. Apart from that 23 pointer when they won 8-0, he's done little of note and today is the last straw!

    Full quote from MP http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2014/December/Leicester-v-City-Manuel-Pellegrini-reaction

"We are without Dzeko, Aguero and Jovetic , for maybe more than a couple of weeks. We must see how long it takes Jovetic to recover. It is a difficult situation but we will see what is the best way for us to play.

“Lampard scored again which is one of the reasons he played today, because he can score and we needed a goal.

“David Silva, Samir Nasri and the rest of the midfielders can all score so we must see during the week which is the best way to play in the future until we recover our strikers."

Hasn't Silva played as a false 9 for Spain before? That could be one option.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,345 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

    Right that's it.
    Costa -> Giroud
    Boyd -> Hazard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,970 ✭✭✭mufcboy1999

Might bank this transfer, but lampard is tempting with city's injuries, a possible double up on city midfielders with him and yaya.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,121 ✭✭✭G1032

I've no City players. Who is best attacking cover now? Yaya?

Easy -4 for me this week. Mata and Tadic out for Sanchez and Downing.

Dzeko out anyway but who for I don't
know. May also need to take a hit in defense as iv Hutton out and Chambers and Duff at risk of not starting next week.

Bertrand to Mangala or Demichelis I think. I'm tempted by Clichy/Zab but feel they're more likely to be rotated than the other two.
