Water turned off without notice???

Last night our water supply got cut off without notice and it still has yet to come back. Umm, sorry what like? Are they allowed do that? We need water to shower, cook, use bathroom etc and now can't do any of that...? What is the reason for this? Who can I contact about this?

Thanks I rang the number provided in the link and they are sending an engineer over now. They said Irish Water could be responsible.
