Coffee Machine - No idea where to start

Looking to get a coffee machine for my dad for Christmas. I know he drinks cappuccinos, but enjoys other kinds also such as lattes. I noticed Argos currently have a good sale on Tassimo machines, are these machines any good? Any help would be great, price of around €100 would be great. Thanks
