    I get this already via linked in group updates. The focus is on what I am interested in and it includes both people, experiences & discovery from a lot of different sources but 'sans le spam' element. Even at that I only read them from time to time.

    Spam is unsolicited email - I often see people getting confused as to what it actually is. If you sign up to something then you can't brand it as spam when it arrives in your inbox.
