Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well at least we know Sakho, Can and Borini are still alive.

Dreamt 4-1 to Bournemouth with Coutinho sent off for a double yellow. We were 1-0 up. Zombies came into it at some point so may not be entirely accurate

That's what he wants you to think. It's just Ashley Williams, Leon Britton and Danny Graham in disguise. He spent all the Suarez money on their facial reconstruction.

Well the rest of Rodgers tenure should be..........interesting?

    Borini on the subs bench.
Annoyed with that decision. Why not give Ojo a chance? We know Borini isn't good enough.

Who's playing as striker? Can't even tell

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

    Cuddly Toy
    Kolo-Skrtel-Lovren
    Lucas
    Hendo----Gerrard
    -Markovic-Coutinho--Lallana
    Sterling

is how I'd have them set up.

This should be interesting. Rodgers going the wrong way about winning this game with that formation. We will have to see what happens.

Markovic's turn to be striker tonight and Sterling back out on the wing.

I can picture how meetings between 'The Rodgers' and the transfer committee went.

How many games has sterling missed this season?

Missed one for England because Brendan told the England manager he was overplaying him.

They say he was subbed off in the final 4 seconds of a friendly against the Under 16s, but I can't confirm this.

Couldn't they put a cardboard cutout on an electric train set ala home alone, across the goaline...I assume that was Jone's strategy on Sunday.

    28 games - 2 goals.

    Borini's record says it all.

Also missed one to mind the kids.

The fact that one of Lallana or Markovic will be playing ahead of Can at LWB is astonishing.

Tinkering in a vain bid to find some sort of formation to save his season. We can only guess at the lineup there.

    Oh Brendan.

They've gone for this approach tonight, worked a treat against our "forwards" in training.

Lallana in Allen's position as left wing back and Henderson as right wing back I guess.
Lucas and Gerrard in the middle.

Surely it'll be Markovic at LWB?

Problem is Sterling was the forward and refused to shoot even after rounding the keeper....now everyone thinks the cutout is the best in the world.

If he really doesn't want Borini there he should have put Sinclair or Yesil on the bench.

At least the cut-out guessed the correct side once, unlike Jones.

Of course he's the best in the world! He's had two good games for United! That counts as 4,000 for any other team.

So, have we reverse jinxed it enough yet or is there still room for even more superstition?

Liverpool will probably need to score 5 to win this one.

all the signs point to a win for the home side, id give anything for a comfortable away win,so i can watch a game and be relaxed for once this fcking season

I wasn't trying to jinx or reverse jinx or anything. I just believe we will lose this game :(

The reverse jinx that worked so well last year seems to have the opposite effect this year. Maybe we need the double reverse jinx to change our fortunes?

3-0 Liverpool. Borini to come off the bench at half time and nab a hat-trick.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Gerrard looks like he has the weight of his furrowed brow on his shoulders.

I am confident we will be cruising by halftime.

Sterling's shaved his head so he should be faster. Three one to Liverpool.

Liverpool defenders genuinely look afraid every time Bournemouth have the ball so far.

    Awful miss.

I hate Alan Smith commentating on our games.
